I have numerous online groups I’m a member of as well as several in real person communities. I listed some of them below.
Nara Fellowship
This is my own learning journey podcast and community. If you are a learner, helper or creative soul, please check out the “Don’t Subscribe If…” video. This is not for everyone, but if you still want to join, you’re welcome to. The podcast focuses on learning about other learners.
The Learning Club is in the works. We’ve locked in a location in Loveland, Colorado. We’ll be announcing the details soon. If you want to be notified when we announce it, please send me an email, (on Contact page) with “Learning Club” in the Subject heading.

Other Local Communities
Northern Colorado Community
This is a business networking organization for northern Colorado. Ann Baron does a wonderful job in putting together various events to promote learning and growth with connecting business people together. Learn more about them on their website.
I’m not an official member, but non-members are welcome to come to the open events. If you’ve got the budget and time, I whole heartily recommend joining and participating in their community.
Society of Creative Anachronism: Barony of Unser Hafen
The Barony of Unser Hafen is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism in Northern Colorado. The SCA is a practical history society, recreating the arts and skills of pre-17th human activity. While dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, people can experience tournaments, royal courts, feasts, and dancing. They also have the opportunity to learn and practice ancient arts and skills like calligraphy, cooking, armoring, metalworking, carpentry, dancing and needlework — within an all-ages social group.
Please note: I’m only a member and volunteer. I may have very different views and opinions that many of the SCA members and its administration do. I joined because they are a community of generous helpers and curious learners. I may disagree with some of their views, but they are wonderful and chivalrous people and I’m glad to be a part of the SCA. To be clear, SCA, its administration, and its members do not endorse or agree with my modern opinions. Likewise I don’t endorse or agree with their SCA or its members’ modern opinions. But, we both do agree in being chivalrous with everyone.
