Writers of Meaning book

For the last two years I’ve been working with my writing group on a book project. We’re celebrating publishing it this August! This is the result of a great team of volunteers working together to make this happen.

The book will be available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and others August 31, 2024!!! The pre-order for the ebook is live on Amazon now!

Author

It’s really a weird and neat feeling that I am now a published author. A slight shift in my identity from just a writer. Granted, its an anthology and I wrote three pieces for it. But still, I’m now an author.

I even got new business cards which read, “Author and Podcaster” on them. I feel all official and everything.

When I opened the package with my Geek friends and took out the proof copy of the book, it was surreal how the physical copy of the book was the embodiment of two years of work. We made this a reality together!

My Geek friends and family were thrilled at this milestone in my life. Our Overlady proclaimed she would order a book for their Glossary Library. In which all us Geeks are welcome to borrow from, it has a WorldCat library catalog and everything. It’s awesome. I have two of her Charles Williams books sitting on my nightstand.

It feels surreal and very delightful to now call myself an author. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope to write more books in the future.

Writers of Meaning

I was very fortunate to be part of this group. My debut book has elements of myself which is diverse. Its fitting and right that this was born from community, about community and by fellow writers who share a commitment to participating in a community that enables good faith discussions in a online social media platform called Discord. Very oxymoronic, yet it suits “This Little Corner” of the internet. It’s not always agreeable, but it’s amiable.
