For a few months now, I’ve been working on a new endeavor. Been revamping our old production company’s website, LionHawkEntertainment.com.
Unveiling a new direction and purpose, legacy keepsake services. Perfect gift for the holidays. Combining my love of people and interviewing into a new chapter of my life. In June, I had my 50th birthday, and that milestone made me think, “What do I want to do now?”
After doing some research, I discovered legacy interviews while working on my book.
This seemed like a doable side gig that I would enjoy.
I’m exploring the possibility of working with Genealogy Societies, History Organizations and others supporting their associations with a 10% donation of their members’ discounted purchase of LionHawk’s legacy keepsakes services.
I do have the capability to create digital coupon codes for special groups. If you know anyone or a group that would be interested, feel free to contact me at: in**@*******************nt.com. I wanted something unique, fun, and manageable to raise funds to publish my book that’s in progress and buy a new laptop. As well as creating extra cash for a rainy day.
With my schedule, 1-4 interviews a month would be a full plate. So I’m not trying to go for quantity but aiming for quality. This was a way to create a work-from-home business that I can do with my caregiving duties.
I tried to figure out something that would be meaningful and heartening that would be of service to my clients.
I can’t do editing or graphic design, so I am limited on what I can offer. But, I do have some decent hard and soft skills that make my unique service a valuable resource for clients.
What I do offer is my 9 years as a co-producer on a radio show, my own interview experience as a podcaster and my 30+ years in media production. I have a paid Streamyard account that allows me to spruce up a regular video recording into something a little more classy.
Leaning into my strengths and outsourcing my weaknesses. So, to my video editing friends, do contact me if you’d like legacy keepsake interview editing referrals. I’m compiling a list for clients of editing professionals they can contact.
So starts the LionHawk chapter of my life at 50 years old.
Wish me luck!
